However, there was some confusion about the hotel's pet policy. We were told it wasn't pet friendly when we called, which was a bit disappointing as we were traveling with our dog.

There’s a noticeable absence of dining choices nearby, making late-night snacks or meals a challenge unless you're up for a drive. The pool had maintenance issues during my stay, which could’ve seriously dampened my relaxation options.
